Apple Picking on a Fall Sunday

Ripe for the Picking!

Robin and I made the trek up to Mt. Airy, MD today to visit Rock Hill Orchard and pick some apples. It was an absolutely beautiful day and the parking lot represented this with its full load of vehicles from around Maryland and DC.  We ended up bringing home about 10 pounds of apples for the two of us, but more importantly, we got out of town and enjoyed the fresh air. Also, Robin was really excited because local soft-serve favorite Jimmy Cone was still open for a quick stop on the way home.
